Born and raised in the vibrant community of Pace, Mississippi, Pastor Moshiu T. Knox discovered his calling at a tender age when his fingers first danced across piano keys. This early devotion to church music would become a lifelong thread, weaving through various community congregations and choirs, establishing the spiritual foundation that would guide his extraordinary journey.
Graduating with honors from West Bolivar High School, where he excelled both academically and as a track athlete, Pastor Knox continued his education at Rust College in Holly Springs. There, he pursued Mass Communication while lending his voice to the renowned Rust College choir. Yet his heart remained tethered to his roots—serving as pianist at Hears Grove Baptist Church in Byhalia, a testament to his unyielding commitment to worship and community.
Service to Country
The call to serve extended far beyond melodies when Pastor Knox enlisted in the United States Air Force. His military tenure was marked by exceptional dedication and achievement, earning him an Associate in Allied Health Science degree and serving with distinction as both an Aeromedical Staging Facility nurse and a Certified Flight Nurse.
Through the crucible of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Pastor Knox demonstrated unwavering courage and commitment to his fellow service members and his country. His exemplary service earned him the esteemed status of a decorated veteran—a source of deep pride and a foundation for his continued service to community.

During his service at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, Pastor Knox married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Lucas—a partnership rooted in shared history and enduring love. Together, they are proud parents of three accomplished children: Mioshiua, Miadonte', and Moshiu T. Knox II.
Their family legacy now extends to seven cherished grandchildren, including their newest blessing, Marisol Knox. Pastor Knox's commitment to intergenerational impact is evident not only in his ministry but in the love and guidance he provides to his growing family.

In August 2018, Pastor Moshiu T. Knox assumed the mantle of leadership as Pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama.
